Position Scope
Directed all activities related to marketing, advertising, community outreach, physician relations, public relations, and hospital service
line development. Collaborated with C-suite, department managers, agencies, corporate marketing, physicians, and the community to
support and promote overall regional and systemwide growth objectives. Aligned with community organizations and local government
to increase awareness and improve public relations. Assisted with guiding and supporting the regional strategic planning process while
overseeing business development initiatives. Managed department budget and personnel and reported directly to CEO with dotted line
to Senior VP of Marketing & Communications.
Key Accomplishments
• Served as Physician Strategy Chair, Community Relations Council Co-Chair and member of Corporate Sponsorship Committee.
• Launched the only Men’s Health service line and Man Van in South Florida in 2013.
• Planned hospital lectures, events, and activities for the public and for physicians, including the Annual Medical Staff Meeting,
Doctors’ Day, monthly High Tea and Trivia.
• Created executive presentations, speeches, and newsletters on behalf of CEO.
• Responsible for creating and publishing the monthly physician e-newsletter, Points of Interest, CEO e-newsletter, To the Point, and
the Week in Pictures.
